H.O.Y.A. Help Our Youth Achieve is our youth group that teaches teens to truly change their lives. It is a
project we are giving our lives to. It is the Passion Project. For even the Son of man came not to be
ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. Mk.10:45 H.O.Y.A.is more than just
a youth group. It is an outreach that teaches teens how to apply the things he or she learns in situations
they encounter every day. Teens should be able to say *I don*t just know what, I know how.*
The Mission of H.O.Y.A. is to introduce teens to Jesus, that they may know Him as a Savior who is
concerned about every aspect of their lives. It is to teach reliance on Jesus as way of life that will heal all of
the ills in their lives as well as the ills in society. It is to have every child filled with and walking in the Spirit.
And that they learn to have fun in safety and righteousness. Ga.5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and
ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
The strategy:
is to teach life skills based on biblical principles. We believe that doing this they will learn to live their lives in
accordance with the teachings of Jesus. They will gain faith in the teachings of the Lord as they experience
the success that is inherent in Godly living.
Encourage parents to support the efforts of the program by participating with their teens in events that
recognize achievement.
