Dear Friend
One Way Ministry National Community Outreach Inc. In 2002 we developed a relationship with some of God’s people in Ghana, West Africa. Our collaboration has established One Way Ministerial Fellowship Ghana. One Way Ministerial Fellowship Ghana is dedicated to ministering to the social, economic, and spiritual needs of the Ghanaian people. Our outreach has been giving consistently to One Way Fellowship Ghana. I have personally given to this cause, but the work is not done. There is still much work to be done. The harvest is plenty but the workers are few. This is why we are beginning a national campaign – Train Up A Child
There are many ministries bringing relief to places around the world. These provide much needed relief, easing some of the symptoms of an even deeper problem. There is a desperate need to ensure that young children of Ghana receive the opportunity to acquire basic literacy skills. Without these skills they have no hope of receiving a decent education. Lack of education contributes greatly to starvation, poverty, and the continued need for further relief. Without education poverty is inevitable. There are no public schools in Ghana. All schools are private and education comes with a price. Many governmental initiatives in Ghana have attempted to block education, and as a result there is a whole new generation of illiterates growing up in it’s towns and cities. Due to this economic control, basic, free, universal, and necessary schooling is not available to all. Train up a child in the way he should go: and when is old he will not depart from it. The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is a servant to the lender. (Proverbs 22:6-7)
Train Up A Child provides teaching materials, school supplies, helps with the building, maintenance, and repair of schools and day care facilities. It also provides food, clothing and other emergency needs to families. It is a multi-pronged approach to truly get at the heart of this problem and foster empowerment and freedom. You can make a real difference in the life of a child in Ghana. With a gift of $25.00 you can provide comprehensive educational needs and assure a child at least one balanced, nutritious meal each day for an entire month. How much more meaningful is it to not just treat the symptom of the problem, but truly meet the need. Joining Train Up A Child is easy. Make it a point today to complete the enclosed gift card and mail it immediately. Every day that a child goes uneducated is another day of bondage, discouragement and despair.
As a member of Train Up A Child you will receive:
Insider reports about new developments in our work to educate children in nine locations in Ghana.
An update each month showing how much you have given and the number of days you have trained a child.
Perhaps the most important benefit you will receive as a “Train Up A Child” supporter is the knowledge that each month your gift is literally healing young lives.
Join us as we undertake this worthy cause. For us it isn’t an option. Thank you for your compassion and being ready to give.
I am personally inviting you to make a difference today. I am seeking your support. Will you stand for and support the truth of God without compromise? I hope you will, and that is why I am calling on you. Is there not a cause? But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him.. (1 John. 3:17)
Who could possibly continue in the faith as a believer and not respond to such a cause in Christ. How could we possibly say, “God bless you” to brothers and sisters who have need of the very things we take for granted. How can we not at least assist them in carrying out the same work as we are? Is our faith dead?
Perhaps the most important benefit you will receive as a “Train Up A Child” supporter is the knowledge that each month your gift is literally healing young lives.
Join us as we undertake this worthy cause. For us it isn’t an option. Thank you for your compassion and being ready to give.
